General USC Email Settings

If you are configuring a personal email account to send messages as your USC email account — or you are configuring your USC email account with an ITS-supported application — you can use the general USC email settings available on our website.

Turn on Duo Auto-Push

Want to speed up your login time with Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)? Turn on auto-push to automatically be prompted by the authentication method of your choice in Duo.

To turn on auto-push, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit any Duo authentication screen.
  2. Select My Settings & Devices.
  3. Authenticate via 2FA to access the self-service portal.
  4. Under My default device is, select your default device from the dropdown menu.
  5. Check the Automatically send me a check box.
  6. Select Duo Push.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click Done.
